Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime starts receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update

Galaxy J5 Prime starts receiving Android 7
Samsung has been producing great mid-range smartphones lately to compete with offerings from rival companies like Xiaomi and Motorola. The J series of Samsung has proven to be pretty popular and trustworthy choice when it comes to phone’s hardware. But things are not so bright when it comes to software side of things.
Some of the Galaxy J handsets have been waiting indefinitely for the Nougat update, even now when some companies have started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo on their devices. Finally, the wait seems to be over for the users of Galaxy J5 Prime.
Samsung India has pulled the plug on the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy J5 Prime and users can expect the all new User Interface with the update that debuted with Galaxy S8 this year. Also Multi-Window, Quick Settings, and Notifications system have been improved. The update also brings Dual Messenger to the table which allows you to use two different accounts on the same device.
If you own a Galaxy J5 Prime, do tell us whether you have received the update and what new features are present.
